Was a nice start to the month to see such a great publication featuring my lovely new Horn sunnies!

This has also been a great result.  This Spanish celeb has had a Bespoke frame made and had some Transitions lenses put in them. Transitions Optical has a few more quid than me and did a photoshoot. They have kindly let me put them on my blog!

Finally, the Sunday papers will never be the same again!  This was a real honour!

Wooo hoooo!!!! Nice to be loved!!!

This is for our Horn Service. Great news!

The last three months have seen demand for my lovely Bespoke and Couture spectacles rocket. No time to lose! I had to expand.  What you can see in these pictures, is the new walls going in, the new production departments and overall (very exciting if you are me) expansion of the workshop!!!

I was sent these photos last week by my production manager and I just had to share them on the blog.

 Ah, a lick of paint!

I saved space in my workshop for the day when things started to take off. This represents enough space to triple my capacity. Lets hope I’m looking for a new workshop space in a few years time!

I'm still at the workshop and I am really a very happy designer.  This is a snap of 7 layer horn.  That’s right... 7 layers.

We purchased a new machine last night which, when used in the right way, helps us to break the 5 layer horn barrier! There is even talk of 9 layers..... but that just sounds like a waste of horn to me!

Anyway, this image is hot off the press, I just had to show it off!

This frame might be only 5 layers but this photo really doesn’t do any justice to the beauty of the frame.  We love making these frames and then we have to give them away..... doesn’t seem right!  Anyone would think it was a business!

Why on earth should I be so excited about new packaging for my frames?  In fact, I was soooo happy with my new Couture box, that I especially took a photo of myself with the first COUTURE frame to leave the factory. The box is actually the prototype but I wanted to send one out while I am here!  They will start rolling out in a few weeks.

Below you can see me holding the package.  The ribbon might look fancy, but it actually serves to get it out the reinforced box.... putting a pretty bow (in black) was an after thought.

and here it is in all its glory......

How many photos can one put on ones blog about a mere case?

.....well, just one more.  Yes, Rahel Pfister has the first ever COUTURE frame from Tom Davies.

Not the most exciting blog post for any customers reading this.... and defiantly one for Opticians only.

This tower design has been 1 year in the making.  It might look like an ordinary black tower to hold specs and well...... I suppose it is!

Only, it is probably the highest quality tower on the market.  It features LED lights, level adjusting feet, two draws and can be customised for any territory (since they are made to order).

They hold 60 frames and Bespoke equipment.  If only everything in life could be THIS exciting!  I LOVE this tower, it looks really fantastic in store and is a great way to show off our Bespoke service, especially when you put Fitting Templates and colour loupes in as well.
